Introduction - Meet Me

This is me. My name's Tarrah...or Tarrah Marie...or even Marie if you don't want to use my first & middle names, and I'm 21 years old. I live in the wonderful state of Georgia but I lived in Arizona before Georgia, and in Wisconsin before that. Though I lived there, I was born in Hawaii and lived in South Carolina for a few years, until a bit after the birth of my first brother. Anyway, enough of going down memory lane. I am a very easy going and laid back person, and I'm almost anti-social, until you get to know me. Meaning, I probably won't say much to you until I actually get comfortable with you as a person. I don't know why, it's just always been that way. Although, I am getting out of that awkward phase since I meet someone new almost every week where I live right now. My favorite colors are green, silver, and turquoise...and I love stars. So, I created this blog site because I love makeup & hair, just as a hobby though...I'm not really too interested in looking into either as a future career. Though, if I did get into either I would probsably choose like children-young teenagers. I don't know, there's just something about the natural beauty of them that is much easier to work with. And I have a niece that I absolutely love dressing up and trying new looks with. Lucky for me, she's girly enough to sit there and let me do whatever I want with her. She loves the thrill of getting her hair and makeup done. Don't worry though, I don't do anything to out there on her face...mostly light colors and a very little amount, since she's so light-skinned. Since I plan on making a few tutorials, I'll probably use her for most of the hair tutorials once I put them up. Oh! And before anyone asks, I'm not Puerto-Rican, Dominican or anything like that. I'm actually bi-racial (Black Mom & White Dad) and very proud of that. Identify with both groups yet I feel very out of place with both since I am not just one race. It's a very confusing feeling. And about my username, I was (am) a huge fan of TLC & Anything with Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes prior to her death...and though it has been nearly 10 years since her passing, I still love her & her music. R.I.P. Left Eye...her legacy continues on through her fans.
